New Delhi, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Three people, including two murder convicts who were out on parole, were drowned while they were fishing in Delhi, police said on Monday.
The deceased were identified as parolees Amir Khan and Naeem, while the third victim was Naeem's father.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka, M Harsh Wardhan said an information regarding the drowning was received at Chhawla police station around 8 a.m.
The three were fishing in Shikarpur Drain, Chhawla, and got drowned as the life tube entangled and deflated, the DCP said.
He said the duo had come out on parole in May 2021.
"Inquest proceedings have been initiated," the DCP added.
