With a whopping following of almost 2 million on Instagram and 4 million on Youtube, Melvin Louis is one of the best dancers and choreographers in the Bollywood Industry. Having worked with many actors and artists,  he has become a rage in the dance world.

Very less known facts about Melvin Louis

He initially wanted to be a basketball player. He has won various medals representing the Mumbai team in the past. He still plays basketball and is the Owner of a streetball league men's and Women's Teams.

Before beginning his career as a full-time dancer he was working in an investment bank. He never wanted to pursue dance as a career .

Melvin Louis participated in a dance reality tv show DANCE INDIA DANCE (DID) Season 2 , He made it to Top 36 but unfortunately his performance song was rejected in the next round due to copyright issues. He couldn’t qualify for the Final 18 .

He has never had a dance teacher and hasn’t taken any formal or professional training in dance . He is a self taught dancer himself.

He has been a Tedx speaker . He has visited various colleges accross the country to speak about his journey and also shared valuable anecdotes with students to utilize their time , talent and skills .

He has a tattoo of his fathers name “ Edward “ inked on his left wrist .

Other than Hindi . Melvin has also choreographed for a German film and a Malayalam Dulquer Salmaan Film .
