Making A Movie Is A Challenge And Huge Risk Says Ranbir Kapoor

Mumbai, 25th June 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has lined-up two massive releases, Brahmastra and Shamshera for release, says making a movie is challenging and risky. 

 

Ranbir Kapoor was interacting with NewsHelpline at the trailer launch of Shamshera in Mumbai. The film is helmed by Karan Malhotra, also starring Sanjaya Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. 

 

Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmasta and Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera are special effects and VFX loaded films and has been in making for a very long time, now with both the films trailer going viral, we asked Ranbir Kapoor if he feels validated or not. He said, “It is not validation, we spent a lot of hard work and time on these films, I spent 3 years on Shamshera and a lot more on Brahmastra, even for that matter when Sanju was being made, there were a lot of apprehensions about my performance, you need to understand, it is not about me, it is so many people coming together and making a movie, and making a movie is not easy, there is no formula to it and that there been a formula then everyone would have been Mukesh Ambani” 

 

“Making a movie is a challenge and a big risk that you take, especially when you’re making a big budget, high octane action entrainer like Shamshera, then again there is no fun without the risk, I hope that the audience likes it, and get entertained and that is the only endeavor here, nothing else” added Ranbir. 

 

The film tells the story of a dacoit tribe, and their fight for independence against the British rule. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, the film is slated for 22nd July 2022 release.
