Watch Live: House Jan. 6 committee presents more evidence in Capitol riot hearing (Video)

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol will continue to present its findings at 10 a.m. EDT on Monday. Committee chair Rep. Bennie Thompson said the committee will "take a close look at the first part of Trump's attack on the rule of law, when he hit the fuse that ultimately resulted in the violence of January 6." Former President Trump urged his supporters to march on the Capitol on Jan. 6 after repeating false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and that then-Vice President Mike Pence had the authority to change the outcome. "I hope Mike is going to do the right thing, I hope so. I hope so. Because if Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election," Mr. Trump falsely said at the time.
