After successfully directing Zombie Reddy (2021), Varma announced his fourth film Hanu Man last year. Hanu Man will be the first superhero film in Telugu cinema and the first fictional universe franchise in the Indian cinema.
Sharing the first look poster of the movie, Rana Daggubati took to his social media and wrote, “Every kid aspires to be a Superhero. But only a Mad man will pursue it. The film is inspired by the god Hanuman in a futuristic setting. Produced by Primeshow Entertainment, the film stars Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer. The film is set in the fictional universe Anjanadri.
Meanwhile on the work front, Rana Daggubati was last seen in Bheemal Nayak with Pawan Kalyan. The film was a massive hit. Next, he will be seen in Virata Parvam, also starring Sai Pallavi.
Rana is also shooting for a Netflix series titled Rana Naidu alongside his uncle Venkatesh, in an official adaptation of American crime drama show Ray Donovan.
