Sharing a series of pictures on her social media, Alia Bhatt captioned her post, “The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these!”
The Mehendi ceremony of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor was a fun event, where everyone danced their hears out. In fact, the groom, even had Alia written on her hand. In one of the picture, Ranbir Kapoor is seen dancing with a picture of his late father Rishi Kapoor.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor began dating after being cast together in Ayan Mukerji's film Brahmastra. They married in a ceremony at home, Vastu apartments in Mumbai's Pali Hills, on Thursday after which they greeted the media outside and posed for pictures.
Brahmastra, which co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, releases this September.
Alia Bhatt is also part of the romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, co-starring Ranveer Singh. She will also produce and star in the black comedy Darlings, opposite Shefali Shah. Additionally, Bhatt will appear alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the Netflix spy film Heart of Stone, and alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in Farhan Akhtar's buddy film Jee Le Zaraa.
As for Ranbir Kapoor, the dapper star will soon be seen in Shamshera and Animal.
