Buddhist monks from Mongolia on India visit

New Delhi, April 1 (SocialNews.XYZ) A delegation of Buddhist monks from Mongolia led by Naro Rinpoche are presently on a pilgrimage to India.

They recently met with the Dalai Lama, and on March 30 held a meeting with senior officials of the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) in New Delhi.

During the interaction with the IBC officials, Naro Rinpoche mentioned that his core objective has been to spread the message of Buddha to ensure peace and happiness in the world, especially at a time when the world faces conflict and violence.

Rinpoche has setup the Naropa Institute in Ulan Bator to inculcate the values of Buddha among the young generation. He has been providing free education to the youth for the purpose.

The delegation led by Naro Rinpoche includes 50 members who come from different professional background, including artists, musicians, painters, poets, writers, etc.

According to Rinpoche, being core influencers in the Mongolian society, it was crucial for him to ensure that these people release the true values of Buddhism in the land of Buddha and also get an audience with his holiness the Dalai Lama.
