The makers of RRR have greatly amped up the promotions. The RRR trio, Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR is aggressively touring several parts of the country and aggressively promoting the film. Now, the makers of RRR have unveiled a new interview that is aimed at the overseas audience. Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR get candid in this interview as they speak at length about the film.
In the interview, Rajamouli speaks about a first of its kind record that has been established by RRR in the USA. "The record for the highest collections from the premieres in a single location in the USA was held by the latest outing from the Spider Man franchise. But this record was broken by RRR back in December when we first opened the booking. But sadly, the release plan was deferred due to the pandemic situation and we had to return all the ticket collections. I was then worried if we could break Spider Man's record when we went for a new release date. When I spoke with the distributor recently, he said the film has already surpassed the tally and RRR is now the highest grossing (premieres) film in a single location in the USA."
Rajamouli has just confirmed that RRR now holds the record for any global film to have the highest collections from ticket sales for the premieres from a single location in the USA.
Jr NTR, and Ram Charan go on to add that they are very much pumped so as to watch how the USA audience react to RRR as they will be the first ones to watch the film.
The USA premieres of RRR will commence as early as 11 PM on the 24th of March. The film is set to post unprecedented records in the USA in terms of collections tally. IT will stand as the biggest opening day grosser for any Indian film in the USA.
