The poster is beautifully curated around the theme of the song which is based on the story of an evil venomous snake and his loyal and unreasonable bully devotees. The red and black combination send off the exact 'don't mess with me' meets Sin City vibe which she has executed even in the video of the song.
Commenting on her song she says “ “Hiss”Story is my account of the vicious trolling I was subjected to for weeks on end and still to this date which included rape and murder threats all because I didn't gravitate to a rapper's music! This song is my statement to set the record straight on my right to choice and freedom of speech.It is my way of addressing the bullying culture within the industry and at the hands of toxic fans .Bullying and domination at any workplace is a serious issue with even more serious implications. To send rape threats for a free citizen who herself is a successful artist basis her generic critique of an rapper is simply unacceptable. These bullying techniques at the hands of toxic fans of a seemingly indifferent artist who has openly discouraged and trolled his fellow rappers on more occasions than one is something that now needs to be put to rest.For artists like this and their self-proclaimed fans , a fitting reply is the need of the hour .When they so freely subject others to this harrassment , surely they should expect retaliation.
