Outrageously poor bookings for Suriya’s ET

Suriya's upcoming theatrical release, ET is struggling with outrageously poor bookings. Let alone the Telugu and Kannada markets, the film is receiving very little to no interest from the Tamil audience itself.

With 23% sold out and fast filling status in advance bookings (Chennai), ET is not even likely to post nominal openings in the capital city. The film, despite starring a superstar like Suriya and being a commercial entertainer is not recieving any interest from the audience.

The advance bookings in Hyderabad are at a shocking 4% (sold out and fast filling). The status is hovering below 1% in Bengaluru.

Any star hero film didn't have such unimaginably poor bookings in recent times and ET has set a new record of sorts.
