Jhund With Amitabh Bachchan Is A Dream, I Never Dreamt Says Nagraj Manjule

Mumbai, 2nd March 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Veteran filmmaker Nagraj Majule who is making his main-stream Hindi debut with forthcoming Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan, says working with Big B is a dream he never dreamt of, but it is coming true miraculously.

Nagraj Manjule was interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of Football exhibition match to promote forthcoming Jhund.

Talking about working with Amitabh Bachchan in biographical sports drama, Nagraj Manjule said, “I’d never thought in my life that someday I will be a filmmaker, and somehow, I ended up being a director, and I never dreamed or desired that I will be able to work with Amitabh Bachchan. You know, there is an old saying sometimes dreams that you have never dreamt of come true, me directing Amitabh Bachchan in this film, is exactly that, I am so happy about it”

Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most disciplined and dedicated craftsmen, and even filmmaker Nagraj is grateful for the patience and

love he got from the senior actor. He added, “Even I heard about it that Amitabh Bachchan works with a lot of discipline, and he did exactly that, but we worked with little chaos and mismanagement, and those times, Amitabh Bachchan handled us with a lot of patience and love. I am grateful for that”

Further adding, Nagraj said, “You learn a lot just by watching him work and operate on the sets, you don’t need to talk to him, just watch him and you’d learn a thing or two”

Based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO Slum Soccer, the film also stars Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru, it is bankrolled by T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment Pvt.Ltd and Aatpat Films. The film is scheduled for release on 4 March 2022.
