Richa Chadha, Prince Narula And Yuvika Chaudhary Reacts To Baapi Lahiri Passing Away

Mumbai, 16th February 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Celebrities such as Richa Chadha, Yuvika Chaudhary, Prince Narula and more reacts to Bappi Lahiri passing away and expressed their deepest condolences.

Singer-composer Bappi Lahiri, who ruled the Indian cinema in the 80s and 90s, has died following multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea).

Interacting with NewsHelpline, actor Prince Narual expressed, “Bappi Da was a legend, I mean I remember dancing to his song since childhood. It is a huge loss”

Yuvika Chaudhary also expressed her shock, she said, “It is shocking, he wasn’t all that old. It is really strange, now a days when you wake up, you got to hear some bad news or the other, and added with pandemic, I am really scared”

Actress Richa Chadha, who was fortunate enough to work with Bappi Lahiri expressed her condolences and fondly remembered the singer and composer. She also expressed that last one month has been nothing but traumatic as Indian cinema has lost Lata ji, Sandhay ji, and Deep Sidhu.

She said, “We did a song together; it has been a tough month. We lost Lata Mangeshkar ji, then we lost one Bengali singer Sandhya Mukherjee yesterday, she was lost a legend and today we lost Bappi Da and Deep Sidhu died in a car accident. It has been quite traumatic”

“Baapi Da’s music will live on, he made some really good international tracks, I think he was the first guy to sue someone abroad when he used his tune for a remix, and he won. My deepest condolences to his family and he will always be alive through his music” added Richa
