Long Term Commitment Is Keeping Me Away From Television Says Deepika Singh

Mumbai, 24th January 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Deepika Singh confirms that she doesn’t desire for comeback on Television and cites long-term commitment as the reason.

 

Known for her roles in hit serials such as Diya Aur Baati Hum and Kaavch, actress Deepika Singh was interacting with NewsHelpline during a social event. 

 

When asked about her return to Television, Deepika Singh said, “I seriously do not desire to return to television. The kind of work schedule I have and the kind of life I am leading right now, I don’t think I am ready for a long-term commitment, that is the biggest issue. I’ve worked for the longest on television, I have enjoyed it, but now I want to explore myself into films and web-series” 

 

Sandhya Kothari from Diya Aur Baati Hum was probably one of the most inspiring and popular character actress ever played and she has tried to incorporate the character’s good habits as well. 

 

She said, “My character Sandhya is very popular, but in all honesty, that character has inspired me as well. I have tried to inculcate certain good qualities of that character in my life. I joined as learner but that show slowly went to become such a huge hit that now I am confident enough to pull off any character, as an actor, I can take on challenges” 

 

With Bigg Boss 15 finale around the corner, we asked Deepika if she follows the show and her favorite characters. She said, “Rashmi Desai and Devoleena are my friends, so my best wishes are with them, they both are playing a good game. I am not following the show that great a deal, but I know a little bit from social media”.
