Mumbai, 22nd January 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Peacock releases the first teaser trailer for Joe vs Carole, a biopic series starring Kate McKinnon based on Tiger King’s Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.

 

 

"Joe vs Carole" centers on Carole Baskin (Kate McKinnon), a big cat enthusiast who learns that fellow exotic animal lover Joe "Exotic" Schreibvogel (John Cameron Mitchell) is breeding big cats for profit. When she attempts to shut down his operation, she inadvertently kickstarts a rivalry that threatens to expose her checkered past. And then things get a lot weirder.

 

The series is based on the second season of Wondery's Over My Dead Body podcast, which follows the criminal case of Joe Exotic, a zookeeper who has been convicted for murder-for-hire.

 

Created by Etan Frankel, the series stars John Cameron Mitchell, Kate McKinnon, Kyle MacLachlan, Dean Winters, Brian Van Holt, William Fichtner, Nat Wolff, Sam Keeley, Lex Mayson, Joel Marsh Garland, Marlo Kelly, and Aliandra Calabrese. 

 

The series will stream exclusively on Peacock on March 3, 2022.
