Actress Aamna Sharif was interacting with NewsHelpline during a promotional interview for the forthcoming series, Damaged 3.
Talking about venturing into digital space, Aamna Sharif said, “It is more realistic, the more you are real, the more you naturally perform, the more people appreciate that because the audience is looking for relatability, for an actor, digital or OTT is an interesting place to be, plus the medium is big and gives opportunity to every actor for different sort of roles and performances”
Damaged 3 is the third instalment of Hungama’s blockbuster Hindi original show, Damaged. The third season features Aamna as a headstrong cop renowned for her bravery and courage investaging a murder mystery.
Talking about role in the series, Aamna said, “This is first time I am playing a cop in a show, it has been wonderful experience. I did train and prep for this role, as it was a difficult role to play. It was a challenging role and as an actor that is most satisfying thing that you play a role which is challenging, it was a fabulous experience”
The series is bankrolled by Endemol Shine India, hemed by Ekant Babani, also starring Pulkit Bangia, Yash Bhatia, Shernu Parikh, Vibhuti Upadhaya and Aman Verma in key roles. It will be available to stream from 20th January on Hungama Play and partner networks.
