Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s wife and producer Pragya Kapoor has bankrolled Kedarnath and recently releases Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and now shares a little sneak-peek into 2022 line-up of releases.
Pragya Kapoor was interacting with NewsHelpline at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022 press conference.
When asked about her 2022 line-up, Pragya said, “We have made Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, the idea is to keep on creating similar cinema which inspire people. We are making 2-3 movies right now, one is title Sharaabi, one is based on Balakot, and two more movies about environment, which sort of aimed to make people aware about climate change. We are creating couple of shows as well, so right now we’re working constantly”
Talking about participating in Film Festival, Pragya said, “Feeling honored to be here and I am feeling happy that we have a platform where we are showcasing good movies to inspiring youths, which is important in current times where we are having a tough time at cinemas”
Sharaab is a joint venture of Guy In The Sky Pictures and Bhushan Kumar's T Series, helmed by Abhiskek Kapoor.
