Kangana Ranaut Had A Fan Moment With Bimaj Roy’s Camera

Mumbai, 30th December 2021 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Kangana Ranaut is venturing into the world of production with her maiden project, Tiku Weds Sheru, and during her visit on the sets found an old camera used by legend Bimal Roy, and the actress couldn’t help but fiddle and pose with it.

Tiku Weds Sheru is the first film produced by Kangana Ranaut's production house, Manikarnika Productions. It stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur. The film will release on Amazon Prime.

Sharing the pictures from the fan moment on the sets, Kangana wrote, “This is no ordinary day, today one the sets of Tiku weds Sheru I found a rare gem, Newall camera right from the golden age of Indian Cinema 1950’s and this belonged to one of the greatest directors of all time Shri Bimal Roy ji…As I am all set to direct my second feature film Emergency this is nothing short of a blessing…What a lovely day…Thanks to the family of Bimal Roy ji to give us this precious gem for filming…thanks @donfernandodp for arranging this…”

Kangana Ranaut made her directorial debut with Manikarnika, and now she embarks on the journey of second directorial venture, Emergency, where she will be playing the role of Indira Gandhi.

Emergency is not a biopic, but a political drama, revolving around the time when emergency was induced in India.

Kangana Ranaut has a slew of films in her kitty. She will be seen in Tejas in the role of an Air Force pilot. In Dhaakad, which also stars Arjun Rampal, the actress will be seen in a tough role and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda.
