On 13 December 2021, Ambassador Ito Takako attended the launching ceremony of the Master's Degree Program on Peace and Conflict Management at the International Peace Support Training Institute (IPSTI), Peacekeeping Center, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This is the first Master's Degree Program in the IPSTI. It is supported by Japan through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It is a 2-year program, and students from neighboring countries, such as Kenya, South Sudan and Uganda, are participating in it.
