83’ Unveils Sakht Jaan Song And Declared Tax-Free In Delhi

Mumbai, December 22 (NewsHelpline) - Ahead of its release, the maker of 83’ drops a brand new anthem song, Sakht Jaan and confirms that the film has been declared tax-free in Delhi.

The official handle of Nadiadwala Grandson dropped the new single on social media. It said, “Sakht jaan ruknay na de, sakht jaan thaknay na de! #SakhtJaan out now! 83 RELEASING IN CINEMAS ON 24TH DEC, 2021, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Also in 3D.

The new song, Sakht Jaan is composed by Pritam, and crooned by Amit Mishra. The lyrics are penned by Jaideep Sahni.

Kabir Khan directorial revolves around India's historical 1983 Cricket World Cup win, has been declared tax-free in Capital. The official handle of Nadiadwala confirmed the news, it said, “Thank you, Shri. @arvindkejriwal ji and Shri. #ManishSisodia ji, for declaring the film 83 tax-free in Delhi! The film stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi.

It was on June 25, 1983, when India lifted their first-ever cricket World Cup title, defeating West Indies in the finals by 43 runs at the Lord's Cricket Ground. It's now been 38 years since India's triumph in the tournament.

After the world premiere at Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, the film will have it’s theatrical release on 24th December.
