Next Decade Will Be About Indian Cinema Ruling Globally Says Allu Arjun

Mumbai, 17th December 2021 (NewsHelpline) - Actor Allu Arjun believes that lines across different entertainment industries are blurring and Indian Entertainment cinema as whole is emerging will soon be the biggest players in the game. 

 

Actor Allu Arjun along with Rashmika Mandanna and creative team of Pushpa, were interacting with NewsHelpline at the press-meet in Mumbai. 

 

When asked about shift in landscape of entertainment industry with Pan-India releases and OTT putting varied content across the map, Actor Allu Arjun said, “You should see the cinema trend which has been running in last ten years, since 2000, it has been a very clear bat between north cinema and south cinema. But then if you look at the entire 2010’s bracket, there are some beautiful bridges built across to bridge those gaps” 

 

“Now everybody is getting familiar with each other’s cinema, and I am telling you, from next decade onwards, 2020’s, the lines will be so blurry that it will not matter where the cinema is coming from, it will be the content that will matter. It will not be about south or north, it will all about Indian cinema and with wonderful platforms OTT has created, there is going to be a whole new set of actors, directors, technicians, musicians and more, entering industry with new horizons, and we as Indian entertainment industry, not north or south, will be the biggest players in the game, this coming decade. I am very positive that as a country we will go up” added actor.

 

Based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, the film is written and directed by Sukumar, also starring Fahadh Faasil making his Telugu debut. The film is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, slated for 17th December 2021 release.
