Monali started shooting for the film in Gujarat on Wednesday and is excited to play one of the two protagonists in Dukaan, which marks the directorial debut of Siddharth-Garima the writers of Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh and Akshay Kumar's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
Monali made her acting debut with a Bengali film named Krishnakanter Will directed by Raja Sen, later her Bollywood debut was in the film Lakshmi. The singer-actress also had a cameo in PK as a Kashmiri Girl.
