Nothing Can Match The Theatrical Experience Says Salman Khan

Due to lockdown the OTT platforms found their niche and now with rumors floating around the days of superstardom are gone, actor Salman Khan share his opinion and says nothing can really replace theaters or stardom.

Salman Khan was interacting with Newshelpline during a press-junket for forthcoming Antim – The Final Truth, which is slated for a theatrical release.

We asked Salman Khan if there was a moment in last 2 years that OTT might fade away the charm of cinema halls. He said, “I was certain that once the vaccination was done, and things are under control, the cinema halls will reopen, and film will release once again. I don’t think OTT can take cinema’s place or vice-versa, the fun of watching a film on big screen, nothing can match it. You look overseas, they have number of options of OTT, but the number they make in theaters and the number of cinema halls they have, its staggering”

Further adding, Salman said “The era of stardom will never go away, we might fade away and someone else will take the place, but that isn’t going nowhere. But that also depends on a lot of factors, ranging from selection of movies and how you are in real life, it’s a whole package thing. I have been hearing it from last four generations that stardom will fade away, but it hasn’t happened”

Antim: The Final Truth is helmed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Salman Khan Films. The film also stars Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makwana.

Talking about his role in the movie, Salman added, “It is larger than life but more realistic. My character is strong, he is not someone who is shouting or screaming, he is focused, he is rugged and when the time comes, he will do what is needed to be done or what he feels is the right thing to do. He is a standalone character; he doesn’t have heroine in the film. He is tough but noble character”

The film is slated for 26th November 2021 release.
