Actress Richa Chadha, who will be seen playing the role of Zarina Malik in Inside Edge 3, says her first love was Rahul Dravid, because of him she got into cricket.
Interacting with Newshelpline on the sidelines of Inside Edge 3 trailer launch in Mumbai, Richa Chadha opened-up about her first love, Indian skipper Rahul Dravid.
Talking about her interest in cricket, Richa said, “My brother used to play cricket in Delhi, but first time I feel in love, my first love Rahul Dravid, I got into cricket because of him but when he started to phase out, my interest dropped, now I have watched a lot of cricket because of Inside Edge”
In the new season, Richa Chadha's Zarina Malik is now eyeing the President's chair at the cricket federation, Vivek Oberoi as Vikrant Dhawan is pulling all stops to stay in control.
Talking about the series and her character, Richa added, “This series is amazing with lots of twists and turns, there is a lot of politics going on the show and you will see lot of power struggles”
“My character Zarina, she is a fighter, and she has her own struggles. In this season, where it all began for me, her childhood, her parents and incidents, which turned her into what she is, and being a woman, she must slog a little bit extra than man. In this season, she is all set to throw in a googly”
Inside Edge 3 revolves around legalizing of betting in cricket to check the black money around it. But some biggies won’t let that happen for their selfish gains.
The series is created by Karan Anshuman and directed by Kanishk Varma. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment is its production banner.
