RRR is confirmed to arrive in theatres on the 7th of January. There will be no change in the release plans whatsoever. The pressure is now mounting on Bheemla Nayak and Radhe Shyam which are also gearing up for release next Sankranthi season.
The Active Producers Guild is trying its best to oust at least one film from the Sankranthi race. With RRR locked in, either Bheemla Nayak or Radhe Shyam are being pressurized to vacate the Sankranthi slot.
The makers of Bheemla Nayak are citing the 'Vakeel Saab' example as they fear harassment from the Andhra Pradesh government if the film gets a solo release.
As for Radhe Shyam, it is a pan-India biggie and altering the release date would require a whole lot of logistical reformations. So, the makers of the Prabhas starrer are reluctant to change the release plans.
It is heard that the Producers Guild plans to get one of these films out of the Sankranthi release race. Bheemla Nayak is the soft target for now, but nothing is for certain just yet.
