Director sends birthday wishes for his producer sister!

Director Nirmal Baby Varghese, who has won many awards in the country and abroad for his documentary film 'Thariode', shared his birthday wishes to his sister Baby Chaitanya who produced 'Thariode'. Nirmal shared a photo of the two of them after receiving the state television award. "Baby Chaithanya, my sister and pillar of Casablanca Film Factory." wrote Nirmal while sharing the wishes on social media. Recently they won the Best Educational Programme award for their documentary 'Thariode' at Kerala State Television Awards.

Nirmal and Chaithanya are natives of Kavummannam, Wayanad district in Kerala. Their parents are Baby P K and Lilly Baby. Nirmal is currently adapting his own documentary into a feature film titled 'Thariode: The Lost City'. It stars international artists like Bill Hutchens, Luing Andrews, Alexx O’Nell, Courtney Sanello, Amelie Leroy, Brendan Byrne and Roger Ward. Nirmal’s upcoming movie is ‘Vazhiye’, the first found-footage movie in Malayalam with Hollywood music director Evan Evans.
