Actor Mrunal Thakur wraps the shooting for forthcoming war-biopic drama titled Pippa, the actress took to her social media and shared a little sneak-peek into her character as well.
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, Pippa is based on Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and tells the story of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. The upcoming film stars Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan.

Ishaan Khatter will essay the role of Brigadier Mehta of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron in Pippa, which is inspired by the book The Burning Chaffees, written by Brigadier Mehta himself. The film’s title has been derived from the war tank called the PT-76, popularly known as Pippa. The war drama film aims to show the heroic tank battle of Garibpur on screen, which eventually led to the liberation of Bangladesh.
