Helmed by Kunal Deshmukh, the film chronicles a young couple - Kartika (Radhika Madan) and Jaggi (Sunny Kaushal), thought she is engaged to someone else. Circumstances lead the pair to grow affinity towards each other, the duo begins a passionate relationship after her initial resistance, the trailer suggests that life throws them a curveball.
Shiddat, which has been shot in Mumbai, London, Paris and Glasgow, was earlier scheduled to be release in September last year but got delayed due to the corona-virus pandemic, now it is slated for digital streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 1st October 2021.
