After teasing the fans with a small teaser, the maker of Thalaivii drops the second single Teri Aankhon Mein from the forthcoming biographical drama starring Kangana Ranaut.
Teri Aankhon Mein is sung by Armaan Malik and Prajakta Shukre, it is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil.
Kangana Ranaut dropped the tri-lingual single on her social media profile. She captioned it, “TRACK OUT NOW #TeriAankhonMein #Thalaivii On 10th Sep Bringing back Jayalalithaa-MGR's magical era with the tunes of #TeriAankhonMein. A song that will promise to make you feel their romance”
The song features Kangana Ranaut as Jayalalithaa and Arvind Swami as MGR, her inspiration, love interest, and mentor. It is retro number with vibrant and cheerful setting.
The film, Thalaivii chronicles the life and times of the legend – Jayalalithaa, her inspirational journey from teenage struggling in a 16-year old debutant in the world of Tamil cinema, who went on to become a superstar and eventually becomes Thalaivia revolutionary leader!
The film is shot simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, it is directed by Vijay and written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, Madhan Karky (Tamil), and Rajat Arora (Hindi).
Thalaivii is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh of Vibri Motion Pictures and Karma Media And Entertainment respectively. It is now slated for 10 September 2021 release.
