Actor Fahad Faasil is the main villain of Pushpa, he will be seen playing the role of IPS Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, needless to say, he is a menace and looks the part.

Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1, an action thriller written and directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. The first of two cinematic parts, the plot is based on the red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.
The first part of the film is scheduled to release in December 2021, with the second part in 2022, in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
