Basking in the success of Shershaah, actor Sidharth Malhotra is back on the sets of Mission Majnu, kick-starts the second schedule of shoot. The film will have a theatrical release.
The spy thriller is helmed by Shantanu Bagchi. It is inspired by real events and is set in the 1970s.
Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing the role of a RAW agent in the film. He took to his social media profile and dropped a photo from the sets of the film and announced that the film will have a theatrical release. Mission Majnu marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna.

The thriller is written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora and Sumit Batheja, it is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta under the banners of RSVP Movies and Guilty By Association Media LLP.
The film also stars Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Zakir Hussain, Afshar Hussain, Kumud Mishra, Arjan Bajwa and Praveen Deewan.
