Aishwarya Rajesh starrer thriller film Bhoomika, which is about the battle between humankind and nature, will premiere August 23 worldwide on Netflix.
Directed by Rathindran Prasad, the film talks about the dangerous consequences of a man-made disaster. Kaartheekeyan Santhanam, Sudha Sundaram and Jayaraman have produced. The production companies behind the film are ace director Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Passion Studios.
The film is set in picturesque locales to show how beautiful nature is but when treated ignorantly can turn into one’s worst nightmare.
The movie follows Gayathri and Gowtham, who want to convert a dilapidated school into a resort. But strange things and scary incidents start occurring when they try to do so. Will they be able to survive these horrific circumstances?
The cast of Bhoomika includes Vidhu, Pavel Navageethan, Madhuri, Surya Ganapathy, Ayaan Abhishek and Avantika Vandanapu.
Roberto Zazzara is the Director of Photography (DOP), Prithvi Chandrasekhar is the music composer and Anand Geraldin is the editor. R Mohan has taken care of art direction, while Don Ashok is in charge of stunt choreography for the project.
The ecological thriller which would entertain the audience besides conveying an important message will have worldwide premier on Netflix on August 23.
