Amidst all the hype, the makers dropped the first official trailer of spy-thriller BellBottom, late last night. The trailer has crossed 15 Millions mark within hours of its release.
Actor Akshay Kumar dropped the trailer on his social media profile. The film is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh, stars Akshay Kumar as a RAW agent named BellBottom, along with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. The film is inspired from real life hijacking of Indian Airlines Airbus A300.
Helmed by Directed By Ranjit M Tewari, the film talks about one particular heinous airplane hijack, which India faced in 1984. BellBottom, a RAW agent played by Akshay Kumar sees through the plan and thus, begins India's first covert operation. A story based on true events, led by BellBotom, that went on to create one of the most defining moments of the country.
The film also stars Denzil Smith, Aniruddh Dave, Adil Hussain and Thalaivasal Vijay.
Bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, under Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment, the film will release in cinemas on the 19th of August, 2021.
