New Delhi, July 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) With an aim to make simple and user-friendly technologies, Carl Pei's new London-headquartered venture Nothing has made its global debut with earbuds that comes with an interesting sleek design.

Priced at Rs 5,999 and available on Flipkart from August 17, the affordable Nothing ear (1) comes after months of teases, concept images and even a presale, in which Nothing auctioned off 100 pairs of the earbuds before the official launch.

The demands for affordable true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds have increased tremendously in the last few years in India.

Meanwhile, as Nothing is associated with Pei who was OnePlus co-founder, people might have high hopes for the brand.

The company's debut earbuds look premium, however, we would like to detail how they performed after a thorough usage for a few days.

In terms of design, the new earbuds with a design based around transparent plastic reveal some of their internal circuitry. Each earbud comes with a colour-coded circle -- red and white -- that makes it a little easy for users to know which one is right and left.

The earbuds are soft, comfortable and easy to use. The grip of the buds is nice and the earbuds can be used while doing workouts or running.

Each earbud weighs just 4.7 grams. Even along with the case, the new earbuds can be touted as a very light device -- easy to carry that fits perfectly in the pocket.

In terms of specifications, the ear (1) uses Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to capture and cancel background noise. Two modes allow users to easily adjust levels.

One can use Light mode for moderate noise cancellation and Maximum mode for noisier environments, such as on an airplane or at the office.

Transparency mode will help when you want the background noise too while using the buds with a tap-and-hold gesture on the stem.

One good thing about the earbuds is that it also cancels out background noise when using their microphones to make calls.

The company said that a Clear Voice Technology was specially developed for ear (1) to reduce distractive background noise, like the wind. Honestly, these earbuds offer an immersive listening experience and various modes worked excellent.

The battery life of the earbuds is nice. If you don't use ANC, it is likely to last over a day but if use ANC, it will probably last around a day. Also, it can be charged wirelessly using Qi-compatible chargers or wired over USB-C.

The ear (1) features Bluetooth 5.2 and it is IPX4 water-resistant, which allows the device to survive sweat and light splashes.

Conclusion: At Rs 5,999, the Nothing ear (1) offers a sharp and crisp listening experience, and is going to attract music lovers on the go or those who use earbuds for other purposes like office meetings or casual chats, etc.

Since the debut product ?s so good, it has generated higher expectation from the brand for future devices.
