After scoring a blockbuster with Mahanati, Nag Ashwin is back in action again for Project K, a sci-fi thriller starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
As it appears, Nag Ashwin is following Mahanati’s template for Project K.
Apparently, Nag Ashwin is planning to rope in several big names for Project K much like the way he did with Mahanati. While Mahanati featured Keerthy Suresh, Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha, Dulquer Salman, Mohan Babu, and others important roles, Project K might be on the same lines.
Rumors are rife that the makers of Project K are intending to rope in Samantha and Prithviraj Sukumaran for important roles in the film. If this speculations turn out to be true and both Samantha and Prithviraj come on board for Project, the canvas of the project can get a whole lot bigger. Interestingly enough, Samantha who played a supporting role in Mahanati is said to be in talks for a supporting role in Project K as well.
If these rumors are to be believed, Project K might boast of star-studded cast, including the likes of Prabhas, Amitabh, Deepika, and Samantha. Has Nag Ashwin made it a habit to bring top stars on board for his films or is he trying following Mahanati’s hit sentiment by filling the cast with renowned names? Only time will tell.
