Diva Yami Gautam is back to work, kick-starts the shooting for her next project, titled Lost, in Kolkata.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film is being touted as a hard-hitting investigative drama centred around media integrity, the film also stars veteran Pankaj Kapur in the lead role.
Yami will essay the role of a crime reporter in the upcoming project. She took to her social media and dropped a story, she wrote, "Here I'm Kolkata! Let's begin #LOST"
Looking stunning in a maroon suit, newlywed Yami, opted for light makeup with bold red lipstick and a sleek ponytail.
The film also features Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee, and Tushar Pandey. The film will be largely shot at real locations across the city of Kolkata and Purulia and will highlight the underbelly of an urban city that often goes unnoticed. The film is bankrolled by Zee Studios, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, Sam Fernandes, and Indrani Mukherjee.
Apart from Lost, Yami is also part of Dasvi, which is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Jio Studios, alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur.
Gautam will also be seen essaying the role of Naina Jaiswal, a playschool teacher who takes 16 children as hostages in Behzad Khambata's thriller A Thursday, alongside Neha Dhupia and Atul Kulkarni.
She has also shot for Pavan Kirpalani's horror comedy Bhoot Police, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez.
