TV actor and social media star Imran Nazir Khan teamed up with 9 other influencers to file an FIR against a fake company under charges of fraud. The police officials at Oshiwara Police Station filed the complaint under section 420 and 406 against Mumbai based company called Sansaa Entertainment.
Imran and other influencers have alleged that the company used them for building their own brand image without paying them a single penny. Imran says that the company’s owner Sukant Choudhary offered to bring him paid endorsements and promised to feature him in music videos. He told a leading daily, “Sukant and his company offered me paid brand endorsements and also promised a few video albums. I took the offer and they took advantage of me by promoting their own company by putting up the company logo and asking me to give them shoutouts on social media. However, I was paid nothing.”
He further added, “Sukant Choudhary had narrated me two songs and promised to cast me. Later, I found out that he had narrated the same songs to a dozen people and had promised to feature them as well. This clearly shows how fake they are.”
Actor Anjali Kapoor also came forward to speak against the company in question. She revealed that this company has duped her in the same manner and therefore it was time to stand up against their fraudulent activities.
The artists who have stood up against Sansaa Entertainment have a huge fan base and engagement rate on social media. Apart from being a social media star, Imran is also a TV actor who is known for his work in Gathbandan, Humari Bahu Silk, Porus and Maryam Khan Reporting Live.
