Overview - Karthik Subbaraj is a writer/producer/director who is well known for his classy narrative, dark humor and one of a kind storylines. We have an extraordinary number of models for that in his filmography. This time he joins with National aeard winning star Dhanush for a gangster dramatization Jagame Thandhiram.
Jagame Thandhiram opens with the presentation of three fundamental characters. Initial one is Sivadas (Joju George) a Tamil gangster who manages illicit organizations in London. The subsequent character is Peter (James Cosmo), who is an amazing businessman and furthermore energetically against outsiders or immigrants. Suruli played by Dhanush is our third and furthermore the hero of the film. He is a nearby wild and showy criminal in Madurai. One day Suruli kills the sibling of a gold trader and grounds in a tough situation. His boss advises Suruli to go to a protected spot till the issue gets cool. Simultaneously he gets a chance to visit London to work with Peter against his rival Sivadas. The remainder of the movie manages the battles and impediments in Suruli's day to day existence and how he defeats those issues.
The movies about the issues of outsiders and immigrants are not basic in Indian film industry. Jagame Thandhiram begins a fascinating setup and premise. The film offers bunches of drawing in minutes and energies for a brilliant entertainer, yet, when the story arrives at London, the screenplay looks exceptionally lethargic. After a specific segment of the film we realize what will occur eventually. Similar treatment of an awful man turns great man. Such a large number of characters and inconsequential scene arrangements go about as barricades to the account. Thus, the film's fundamental target of featuring the immigrant situation is lost in interpretation. Santhosh Narayanan's score is one of the principle features of Jagame Thandhiram.
Larger part of the film lies on the shoulders of Dhanush. He sparkles well in the film all through. Dhanush stuns both in Madurai and London scenes. His comic and passionate timings are phenomenal. Malayalam actor and state award winner Joju George conveys an honorable presentation and establishes a striking connection. During the flashback scenes everybody will feel exceptionally sort of his mystique. James Cosmo's quality adds profundity to the film. Another Malayalam actor Aishwarya Lekshmi is exquisite despite the fact that she battles with her Tamil accent. Cinematography by Shreyaas is extraordinary, he catches the London underside very well.
Final Word - Jagame Thandhiram begins well and closures well, nonetheless, the parts between that isn't especially captivating. Karthik Subbaraj's Film has an interesting reason and great interpretations with fiery Dhanush and magnetic Joju George. The film discusses genuine subject of migrants issue, however winds up conveying pretty much nothing.
