Payal Ghosh takes to learning the American accent for her upcoming film New York to Haridwar

Payal Ghosh is now taking up sessions on learning the American accent and she is doing it online. She has been taking a lot of sessions be it belly dancing or MMA for her part. We know Payal for the perfection and finesse she brings to her characters. This is one of those things again. She will be playing a character in new york to Haridwar of a girl who is based out of New York and hence the dialect becomes extremely crucial. Payal has never left a stone unturned. We would have heard about Denzel Washington or Jim Carrey learning a new dialect to perfect their characters and we have Payal in the Indian context

We spoke to Payal and here is what she has got to say, "It's something that's a part of my preparation. The director gave me a download of all the things that are required by the character. The American accent is an extremely crucial one. It has to come right. I am currently taking online sessions and it would be some time before I get it to perfection. I am looking for a coach who can teach me in person but I will wait till the pandemic subsides. Let's all stick to guidelines and follow the protocols. It's been a bumpy ride but this too shall pass."

Payal has been nailing it down during the lockdown. She has spent it in so many productive ways trying to stay excited and productive and that's a silver lining for us and we can all learn a thing or two from that.
