Nila Madhab Panda expresses his grief has fellow Odia music director Shantiraj Khosla passes away due to COVID-19.
Shantiraj Khosla, renowned music director of Odisha, succumbed to COVID-19 at the SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH), he was 50 years old. Khosla had tested positive for the virus recently and was admitted to the COVID Hospital at the SCBMCH. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the healthcare facility.
Nila Madhab Panda took to his social media and expressed his grief, he shared, “Saddened to hear about the demise of eminent Odia music director #ShantirajKhosla . My sincere condolences to his family and fans. A huge loss for all of us. His unique style of music will always be remembered”
Born in Koraput, Khosla has directed many songs for the Odia film industry. He was also a good guitarist and mandolin player. His demise has shocked the people of his district.
National Award winner for I Am Kalam’, Panda has produced and directed numerous films, documentaries and shorts based on social issues such as climate change, child labour, education, water issues, sanitation and many other developmental issues in India.
