Actor Pulkit Samrat takes his first Jab and urges everyone that vaccination is our best defence in this pandemic.
COVID-19 cases in India are multiplying by thousands with each passing day and the government has reiterated that vaccination is the way forward. Many of our favourite actors and actresses, too, have shared this message, urging people to take the jab as soon as possible.
Once the government allowed all those above the age of 18 to get vaccinated, many young celebrities led by example and got their shots recently. Actor Pulkit Samrat shared a photo of himself getting vaccinated on his social media.
Pulkit is seen in a mask and face shield in the photo, wrote, "#Jab We Met. This is our best form of defence. Be safe."
Meanwhile on the work front, Pulkit Samrat was last seen in multi-starrer Taish, will next be seen in multi-lingual social drama Haathi Mere Saathi.
The tri-lingual social drama is written and directed by Prabhu Solomon. The film stars Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain. It was filmed simultaneously in Tamil as Kaadan, Telugu as Aranya, and in Hindi as Haathi Mere Saathi, each with slightly different cast members.
Produced by Eros International, the release of Haathi Mere Saathi has been put on hold since March 2021.
