Kirron Kher Allocates Funds To Purchase Ventilators

The country is facing an acute shortage of resources to fight the second wave of deadly corona-virus. Many celebrities from different walks of life are coming forward to help the country fight this pandemic. BJP MP and actress Kirron Kher has also come forward and has allocated 1 crore from MPLADS to help during covid-19 surge.

On Tuesday, she shared the news on her social media account and wrote," With hope and prayers in my heart, I am allocating Rs. 1 Crore from MPLADS to the PGI Chandigarh towards the immediate purchase of ventilators for Covid-19 patients. I stand solidly with #MyCity #MyChandigarh #MyPeople."

Last year also the actress had allocated funds worth 1 crore from MPLADS to help the city fight the deadly covid-19.

It was earlier this month only when her husband Anupam Kher and her son Sikander Kher confirmed the news on their social media accounts that she has been undergoing treatment for Myeloma, a type of blood cancer. The actor told that they are blessed she is being looked by phenomenal set of doctors and she will emerge out as a winner soon.

This news came in as a shock for all her fans and everybody sent in their good wishes for her speedy recovery.
