Alia Bhatt Tests Positive For COVID-19

While we are reading about an increased number of CoronaVirus cases each day in the country, many Bollywood stars are also under home quarantine because of testing positive for the virus. Now Alia Bhatt has tested positive and has put herself under home quarantine.

The actress shared in her instagram story, "Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine.I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe & take care."

The actress who was currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' had earlier isolated herself after her beau Ranbir Kapoor was tested positive for the virus. She had got herself tested and post her negative report, she informed everyone on social media and had resumed her work.

Last week, Ranbir Kapoor had recovered from the virus and the two were spotted together post a dubbing session. The actress who has now tested positive is under home quarantine.

Recently, Vikrant Massey, Manoj Bajpayee, Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aaryan, Sachin Tendulkar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Rohit Saraf, Fatima Sana Shaikh were among those celebrities who had tested positive for Covid 19.

On the work front, she will soon be seen in Ayan Mukherji's 'Brahmastra: Part One of Three'. It is an action fantasy film which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and herself in lead roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar.

She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' which is a biographical crime film based on Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It focuses on the life of Gangubai, the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura.

She is also a part of SS Rajamouli's period action drama film RRR which is a fictional story about India's freedom fighters Alluri Sitaram Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film also stars NTR Jr, Ram Charan and Olivia Morris.
