Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi which released in 2019 bagged two national awards under two independent categories.
Maharshi won the best film providing wholesome entertainment award 2019. Also, Raju Sundaram master won the best choreographer award for Maharshi.
The Mahesh Babu starrer turned out to be one of the highest grossers of 2019 and now, it bagged a couple of national awards as well.
The social drama is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and it also stars Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh in important roles.
On a related note, Nani’s Jersey bagged the best film of 2019 award. The sports drama was helmed by Gautham Tinnanuri and produced by Sithara Entertainments.
