Actor Alia Bhatt issues a statement on her social media, confirming to her fans regarding being tested negative for Covid-19.
The '2 States' actor took to her Instagram handle and shared a story that read "I've been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you for all your good wishes! I'm taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all. #DoGazKiDoori #MaskHai Zaroori"
Recently, actor Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19, as confirmed by his mother Neetu Kapoor on social media.
Meanwhile on the work front, Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai about Gangubai Kothewali, the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura.
The film also stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari and Seema Pahwa play supporting roles, with special cameos by Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi. It is scheduled for theatrical release on 30 July 2021.
Alia Bhatt is also part of much-awaited fantasy drama Brahmastra, also starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
