Actor Shahid Kapoor joined his wife Mira Kapoor Rajput in centre of gravity challenge on social media on Sunday. Centre of gravity challenge is quite a popular on internet these days. Most men lose it with their female counterparts but Shahid was exception to it probably because of his superb fitness level and his wife Mira couldn’t stop herself from praising him on social media.
Mira took to Instagram to share a video of them taking up the challenge. “Always up for a challenge, Mr Kapoor. You’re a smooth operator. Nailed it,” she wrote in her caption, along with a kiss emoji. The video got more than 800K views on Instragram within a few hours.
The TikTok centre of gravity challenge is often done with couples, and requires both participants kneeling on all fours. When they both remove their arms from the floor, what follows can only be described as miraculous – women stay up, whilst men thud their face straight into the ground. Though TikTok is banned in India, it is getting popularity on YouTube and Instagram reels.
On film front, Shahid Kapoor is returning back on big screens with Gowtam Tinnanuri directorial sports drama film ‘Jersey’ after gigantic success of ‘Kabir Singh’. The film also stars his father and veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in key roles. ‘Jersey’ will theatrically release on 5 November 2021 coinciding with Diwali.
Shahid Kapoor will also be venturing into the digital space with filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s upcoming thriller-comedy series, streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.
