Solid deal for theatrical rights of Vaisshnav Tej – Krish project

Vaisshnav Tej had already completed shooting for his second film under Krish's direction even before the theatrical release of his debut film Uppena.

The Krish directorial is said to be based on Kondapolam novel. It might be titled after the novel as well.

The latest update is that noted distributor, Laxman has bagged the Telugu theatrical rights of Vaisshnav Tej - Krish film.

Apparently Laxman paid Rs 11 crores for the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana rights of the film and a deal has been signed already.

This as-yet-untitled film will be out in theatres in the month of August and the date will be announced soon.

Uppena grossed over Rs 70 crores and the stakes are high on Vaisshnav's second film. Krish completed the project on a limited budget and he made sizeable profit from it.
