Tarun Khanna has been working in the industry for almost 17 years now and the actor has done vivid roles in films and television. He will soon be seen in a web series titled 'Geisha' which also stars Aman Verma and Malvi Malhotra. The series will stream on Digiflix Tv. The actor spoke to News Helpline about the series, his role, the current rise of OTT Platform and much more.
Talking about Digiflix Tv and their series, Tarun said, "Although there are many OTT Platforms these days, still there are many stories that have not been told. Digiflix Tv is trying to bring altogether new stories with the old and the new talent which is commendable.
Geisha is a Japanese word which means class of female entertainers. This is one profession in the world which is the oldest and which has been thriving since the very beginning. No one wants to talk about it but it still exists in our society."
Talking about his role in the series, he said, "I play the role of a cop named Rajveer Shikhawat in the show. With every role of mine, I try to bring something new for the audience. I still consider myself as a newcomer with every new project."
Talking about the current scenario of OTT platforms being censored, he said, "On television language is always a barrier but on OTT platforms you get the liberty to express yourself. But when you get some liberty, you also have some duties. So it is the responsibility of the makers to give the right content to the audience."
Geisha is an upcoming series which is being directed by Raj Verma. It features Aman Verma, Malvi Malhotra and Tarun Khanna in lead roles. The series will stream on Digiflix TV.
