Talking about the show and her role, she said, "This story is not the regular love story between a hero and a heroine. It is a story about a girl who comes to Mumbai to become an actress. Her first film becomes a superhit and then starts her downfall. The show will see different shades of this girl's character and her journey."

Talking about her inspiration for this role, she added," I am inspired from Madhubala Ji and Meena Kumari Ji. "

Talking about the heinous incident that happened with her last year, she said, "Whatever happened with me should not happen with anyone. The case is still going on and I hope I will get justice. I am grateful to Mumbai Police and Urmila Matondkar who supported me and ensured my safety."

What advice she would want to give to the people coming to make a name in the industry, she said, "I would want to tell everyone that our industry is run by good people. But there are certain people who are fraud so one should verify the credibility of the person before meeting that person. You should never lose hope and just keep working hard. "
