Overview - Director Ravi Kishore's new Telugu thriller film Red featuring Ram Pothineni, Nivetha Pethuraj, Malavika Sharma and Amritha Aiyer is the remake of Tamil superhit Thadam. The movie is produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and the music composed by Manisharma. Red was at first scheduled for release the previous summer yet the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic brought about a long deferment of the premiere. The film at last hit the screens on this festive occasion.

Siddharth and Aditya (Ram) are indistinguishable twins who share an uncanny likeness and furthermore a pained past. Be that as it may, their ways of life are totally differentiating. While the previous is a polite structural architect, the last is a rebel who is consistently looking for income sans work. However, the procedures take a precarious turn after Siddharth is blamed for killing a man. Cops, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Sampath begin researching the case and as they continue to examine Siddharth, things get considerably more convoluted as Aditya enters the scene. At that point emerges so may questions and its responses to these inquiries structure the remainder of the plot.

Red is the revamp of Tamil film Thadam which was extolled for its exciting screenplay and energetic portrayal. In any case, tragically, the Ram starrer neglects to secure the previously mentioned key qualities of Thadam and it winds up as an insipid and exhausting film with zero rushes. Mystery films blossom with pacy account and startling turns, yet Red has neither of them. The director looked dumbfounded for most parts as he didn't have the foggiest idea how to take the story forward. Lion's share of the principal half is committed for character foundation and that negatively affects the beat. The subsequent half beginnings on a dull note too and it neglects to hold the consideration of the crowd. There is a little and regular curve towards the finish of the film and it simply isn't sufficient to end the film on a high.

Directly from the principal scene, the movie is displayed in a dull way as there is no grasp on the procedures. The examination looks senseless as Nivetha's job is powerless and doesn't make any effect. Probably the greatest downside is that the film isn't locks in. Aside from this, the length of the film is very moderate. The real story commences just during the time frame. Protagonist has a sweetheart and the cops overlook her in their examination and this looks senseless. Additionally, there is no lucidity why Nivetha helps the hero. There are such countless such rationales that go for a throw.

Filmmaker Kishore Tirumala has made a dull showing with this suspense thriller. He had just coordinated romantic films till now and he stepped new region with Red, which is apparently a thriller. His screenplay is feeble and doesn't cause the watcher to sit with energy to realize who is the executioner. He ought to have accepted better entertainers as cops as the entire film is set in a police headquarters and examination is need. However, tragically, that doesn't occur. The camerawork was acceptable and grandstands the film in a decent light. Discoursed are amazing as was the whole arrangement of the film. BGM by Mani Sharma is sufficiently exciting.

Ram assumes double job in the film and he conveys a fine presentation. He figures out how to show great variety between the two characters when in comes to quirks and non-verbal communication. He is the fundamental main impetus behind the film. Of the three female leads, Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma, and Amritha Aiyer, the previous gets the meatier job as she plays a cop and she makes a respectable showing. Malvika and Amritha are found in short jobs and they convey what is anticipated from them. Sampath is appeared as a cop who has an individual quarrel with one of the male leads and he suits the job.

Final Word - Red is a dull and exhausting revamp of Thadam. Besides from climax turns and some great scenes inside the police headquarters, the film is absolutely dull. Director never merits any commendation for his drowsy composition and terrible execution. It seems like a squandered chance from him. Watch it just in the event that you are a Ram fan.
