Talking about her role in the web show Paurashpur, she says," I am playing the character of Umanglata, one of the Raani, who is tortured by Raja Bhadrapatap of Paurashpur kingdom. And the story further shows how an innocent Rani becomes a rebel, rises for herself along with other women of Paurashpur, and fights for their rights.
On being asked about how comfortable she was with bold scenes she says" It was the first time when I have gone bold on-screen but the script was such amazing that I decided to go for it.
Further, she says," The look and feel of the show were amazing. It's the first costume period drama on the web made at such a big level. It has shown women empowerment in a unique way- starting from patriarchy in that era, how women stand for themselves against the nan dominated kingdom thats what makes it unique. So I loved doing it."
